Eligibility for M.A. Programme
Candidates holding the degree of B.A. with Islamic Studies as elective subject are eligible to apply for admission to M.A. Islamic Studies Semester, if they have secured 45% marks in aggregate as well as in the elective subject of Islamic Studies.
Note:	The candidates who fail to recite/read the Holy Quran (Nazira) will not be considered eligible for admission.
Computation of Merit
The following order of priority will be observed for admission to 1st Semester of M.A. Islamic Studies. Candidates who have passed B.A. Examination with elective subject of Islamic Studies in Ist or 2nd class. The following procedure will be observed for determining the merit of the candidates holding the degree of B.A. for admission to M.A. 1st Semester Islamic Studies. Total marks secured in B.A., plus marks secured in Islamic Studies (elective) plus 10 marks for Arabic (elective), plus 20 marks for Hifz-e-Quran.
