VICE-CHANCELLOR'S MESSAGE

Recent floods in Pakistan have left the country facing a daunting challenge.According to the UNO reports more than 20 millions people have been affected by this disaster. There is an urgent need to take up this issue on national and international level to support the affected people.

The Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan always plays an active role in such times when our motherland needs us. We are determined to work along with other Government institutions to help the affected people. BZU has already contributed more than 2 millions ruppees for this noble cause in terms of donations from employees' salary, food items etc.but the damage is at such a massive scale that there is the need to mobilize all our sources to assist the humanity.

I ask for help of the students, employees, teachers, philanthropists, industrialists, businessmen, agriculturalist and other professionals who are working in different walks of life to come forward and contribute in this noble cause.

We are organizing a team of volunteers to work in the flood affected areas.The students and alumnis of the BZU are requested to contact the office of the Director Students' Affairs for further information.
