BFA 4-Years (2 OR 3-D Specialization) (Specialization in Painting OR Sculpture and Ceramics)

Introduction

There has been tremendous demand for starting classes in (BFA 4-years specialization in Painting or Sculpture and Ceramics) as this facility was not available in this whole region.  So the Multan College of Arts, with the approval of University Authorities decided to introduce this program.  A package of latest courses to train the students in the skills of painting, drawing sculpture ceramics, photography or film making has been developed which will equip the students with the modern techniques and concepts in the field of Fine Arts.  This program is running under semester system and classes and held in the premises of city campus.

Degree Requirement

These are essential requirements for the degree of BFA 4-Years (Specialization in Painting or Sculpture and Ceramics):

1. The BFA will be 4 years program
2. Successful completion 42 courses individually carrying 2, 3, and 6 credit hours and writing of thesis of 18 credit hours.
3. Securing a minimum CGPA of 2.20 for completion of the program.
4. Passing comprehensive examination on completion of course work.

Eligibility

Applicants who have passed their Intermediate examination or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution securing at least 45% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply for admission in BFA 4-Years (Specialization in Painting or Sculpture and Ceramics) Program. Graduate are not eligible for admission in the BFA 4-Years program.

Computation of Merit

50% weight age will be given to drawing test marks and 50% weight age to marks obtained in F.A/F.Sc or equal examination including 20 marks for Hifz-e-Quran.
